Once again I've decided to raise money for the American Lung Association and climb Rainier this Summer.

These folks have been great to climb with and I believe it's a good cause.

We got turned around last year due to weather. This year should be a different story.

I'm not usually one for charity cases or gimme programs so you might be thinking this is a little out of character.

For the most part, I'll have to agree.

My incentive is to climb Rainier again with a good bunch of people. And, so far I don't think I could have picked a better way to do that. And, if it helps some kids with asthma or keeps some others from smoking all the better.

If you'd like to help me get a spot on the rope and make it to the top. I know the American Lung Association would appreciate it and so would I.
